Disney Halloween Party at Creative Beginners

Disney Halloween Party at  Creative Beginners

Last October 28, 2011 Audrey attended her school’s Halloween celebration.  Of course, dad, mom and yaya were in full force with her to join all the fun.  Audrey wore her Princess costume which we bought in H & M in Cracow, Poland last summer.  She personally chose the dress in Cracow and did everything she could with her powers to have such gown!  The princess dress was her special request for Halloween.
The teachers and staff of Creative Beginners did such a great job decorating the school.  They set up the various classrooms with different themes and activities.

With Best Friend Martha in Jasmine Costume

ALICE IN WONDERLAND ROOM
In this room, teachers dressed up and acted out as characters of Alice in Wonderland.  This was also known as the make your own cupcake room.  Kids were given cupcakes to design, decorate and eat.  It was yummy!

BALLOON ROOM

Kids made their own loot bags to put their candies.  Materials were prepared for the kids to use.  Of course, there were handy helpers around to make the bags.

SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARVES

This room was magical!  Teacher Marge dressed as snow white and made the kids look for items with apple stickers on them.  It was a finders keepers activity!  I loved the 7 little beds made for the 7 little dwarves!  Cute J  Ms. Bai, also known as the friendly witch, handed out the candies to the kids, which they put in the lootbags they had made.

ANGRY BIRDS/RIO ROOM

This room was the game room!  Kids were asked to throw the balls and hit the targets.  The room was well decorated and the kids had a nice time.  If we adults were asked to play, I’m sure we too would have enjoyed!

I was debating which one was my favorite room.  I must say I had a tough time deciding between the Alice in Wonderland Room and the Angry Birds Room.  My vote was Alice in Wonderland Room.  Archie voted for Angry Birds.  The parents were asked to judge their preferred rooms.  We had to drop our coupons in the drop box in Ms. Bai’s office.  I wonder which room won.

After the visit to the 4 “wonderlands”, it was time to get some snacks.  For Php 50, snow cones, ice cream, cotton candy and more candies were given to those who bought the tickets.  Not bad for the price I must say.  Audrey had a nice time with Martha, who wore a tummy revealing Jasmine costume.
One of the highlights of the morning was a magic show which was enjoyed by everyone.  It was nice to see Audrey and Martha watching and getting mesmerized by the magician’s tricks!
The Halloween party at Creative Beginners was definitely a blast!
